Tickets must be purchased in advance. They can be purchased with Visa, AMEX, MasterCard or Discover, but cash is not accepted. Please call us at 480-274-3569 to book your reservation or order online.

All tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will maximize our time indoors and use covered sidewalks when possible. We encourage you to check the weather on the day of your tour and plan accordingly. We do not provide umbrellas.

All tour sales are final. Please let us know within 48 hours if you are unable to attend a tour and we will do our best to make alternative tour arrangements.

If you plan to sample alcohol, you should have your driver’s license. If you plan to eat/drink extra, please bring a form of payment. Comfortable shoes are also recommended.

All Phoenix tours meet near a light rail stop. Scottsdale tours are located along major bus routes. The Phoenix area also offers Lyft and Uber in addition to taxis.

Tours generally include 1 to 1.5 miles of walking spread over 3 hours. Guests should expect to be standing or walking for a majority of the time when you aren’t eating. We walk at a moderate pace and there will be at least four 20-minute food stops along the way, in addition to stops to look at attractions.

Several of our tours walk by souvenir shops, but we ask that you wait to shop until after the tour so as not to hold up the group.

Please contact us for wheelchair accessibility information. It should be noted that at most of our restaurants, guests are seated at high-top tables. We do not allow children under the age of 10, so no baby strollers are allowed on the tour.

Each tour page provides a list of scheduled restaurants so you can choose the tour best for your palate. Our tours currently feature English, Mexican, pizza, Thai and a number of other food options. Scheduled restaurants are subject to change.

We are happy to provide vegetarian accommodations on all of our public food tours. However, vegan and dairy-free substitutes are not available at this time. If you require other accommodations such as gluten-free, please contact us before booking, as there is limited availability.

Yes, bathrooms are available at all restaurants visited. Your guide will point them out when you arrive.

Absolutely not! Taste It Tours combines architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into the tours.

Much like a server in a restaurant, our tour guides make their living from gratuities. Therefore, gratuities are greatly appreciated. If you feel your tour guide provided you with a great experience, then please tip accordingly. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.

Yes, gift vouchers are available for all tours offered. Please visit our Purchase Gift Vouchers page.

Yes, tours have a waiting list. If a date and time are sold out, please contact us. Oftentimes we are able to accommodate last minute booking requests even if the tour is full.

We require a minimum of six (6) guests to conduct a tour. If the minimum is not met, we will contact you at least 12 hours in advance and attempt to reschedule your tour or offer a refund.

Tours are offered seven (7) days a week at numerous times of day. If you are visiting from out of town, we recommend scheduling a tour at the beginning of your visit so you can revisit your favorite spots and use any tour provided discounts.

Specific parking details are included in the confirmation email sent when you purchase ticket(s), including location, pricing and hours. In many cases, free parking is available.

We do our best to run tours in a loop. Once you book, you will receive instructions on where to park and meet for your tour. Your tour guide will ensure that the tour ends near where it began.

Yes. Cameras and filming are allowed (and strongly encouraged) during the tour, and your guide will be happy to take group shots. If you post photos to social media sites, please throw in a #TasteItAZ tag.

We respectfully ask for no children under the age of 10 due to the fixed menu and alcohol pairings. We do not have a maximum age limit provided the guest is OK with the walking requirement.

Food tours serve healthy enough portions that for most guests, a meal afterwards is not necessary. We recommend eating a light breakfast or lunch before the tour but come ready to eat.

Most of our routes have alcohol pairings at some of the stops included in the price. Please check the individual tour page for specific details. Water will be served at every restaurant. You can also purchase additional food/beverages of your choice at each stop; just make sure you pay your bill before leaving. We do not offer soda or other substitutions.

We can happily provide vegetarian substitutions as well as accommodations for non-red-meat eaters, nut, and seafood/shellfish allergies, but vegan, Keto, Kosher, FODMAP, and dairy/egg-free options are unavailable. Gluten-free (GF) guests can only be accommodated on our Old Town Scottsdale tour for an additional $15 per GF guest.* We do not recommend our tours for guests with Celiac Disease.

No, we only offer tours in English at this time.

A majority of Taste It Tours guests live in the Valley of the Sun. Locals participate to learn about the interesting neighborhoods in their backyard. They’ll also experience the best local restaurants in Downtown Phoenix and Old Town Scottsdale.

Yes, private tours are available and required for groups of eight (8) or more. Please visit the Private Group Tours page to learn more.
