My husband and I took a tour this Sunday – our anniversary, my Moms birthday and a night out with good friends. There was a ton to eat and all of it yummy. The drinks were good too as they were something we might not have tried. Although we have lived in the valley for many, many years we learned things about Phoenix we never knew, and got to see things we didn’t even know were there. Would highly recommend this tour to visitors and natives!
We had a great afternoon with Taste It Tours. Our guide was knowledgeable and nice, and all of the restaurants provided interesting and delicious food. The tour started at 2, so we were able to count this as our lunch and supper – the samples at each stop we’re relatively small, but at the end we were really full. I highly recommend this tour.
Two couples and two teenage daughters enjoyed this food tour. There was plenty of food and drink; you will be very full at the end, come hungry! Nice balance of food, nice upbeat tour guide and perfect weather made this a fun experience. We enjoyed having the restaurant owners/employee share with us what makes their eatery unique. Would have enjoy a bit more history of Scottsdale or Arizona added to the tour.
We started off in front of the Olive & Ivy which meant parking was free, great start. We not only enjoyed 5 great stops but our guide showed us many other great places to visit. Our guide Jessica was professional and engaging.
Given our interest in walking tours and finding new food establishments wherever we travel, we did a quick search on the internet looking for walking and tasting tours around Phoenix and discovered the Taste It Tours web site founded by Jessica Combest. We booked the Downtown Phoenix Classic evening tour and enjoyed it so much that two days later we booked the Old Town Scottsdale tour and totally enjoyed the great job Jessica did in giving us great inside stories about local historic and landmark sites as well as feed us with more food than we expected. And after the tour she supplied us with enough food coupons to continue enjoying so many fine food spots we now knew were worth going back to eat at… if you are a foodie, and like to get some exercise walking, we suggest looking at Jessica’s Taste It Tours website.
This was my third tour with Taste it Tours. This time was the Scottsdale Trolley Tour. Jessica was our guide. She was prompt yet didn’t rush us. She was informative and made the tour very fun not only for us but for the others on the trolley too. I bet they wish they were with us! I enjoyed all the restaurants that we were introduced to along with other bits of information she gave us about Scottsdale, who knew! When having company from out of town, the tours that are offered with Taste it Tours are excellent. I even went once without company! I’ll keep a watch out for what tour they add on to next, maybe something on the west side?
